Abstract: I discuss the attitudes toward the value of individual lives (vs collective welfare) taken by the Fire Emblem games post-Kaga, especially in contrast to Awakening's stance. Outside of FE13, there are plot spoilers for FE8 endgame and FE10 3-12.
